Free Community 大学 at 十大彩票平台
No matter your age or income: community college is now free in Massachusetts!
的 MassEducate 和 MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents access to community college for free - 没有学费. 没有费用. Both programs include an allowance for books 和 supplies for eligible students. For program requirements 和 guidelines, visit our 学生常见问题网页.
To be eligible for MassEducate or MassReconnect, you must:
- 完成 Free Application for Federal 学生 Aid (FAFSA)
- If you are not eligible to complete the FAFSA 和 are an approved “High School Completer” under the Massachusetts 学费衡平法，您可以完成 Massachusetts Application for State 金融援助 (MASFA) 和 still attend for free.
- 向十大彩票平台申请 和 enroll in an approved program of study. Applications are open all year long 和 there’s never an application fee. 类 start Tuesday, September 3.
- Have physically resided in Massachusetts for at least one year, as of the start of your first enrolled term.
- Have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED/HiSET)
- Be enrolled in at least six credits (usually two classes) per semester in an approved program of study leading to an associate degree or certificate.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress in accordance with the 大学的要求.
MassEducate 和 MassReconnect are last dollar financial aid grant awards that are applied to a student’s account after all other state 和 federal financial aid 和 grants are applied.
All students are subject to program guidelines 和 must maintain eligibility throughout the course of their studies to continue to receive financial aid through MassEducate 和 MassReconnect. Full program guidelines will be forthcoming.
学生s who receive MassEducate or MassReconnect awards who are later found to be ineligible, 出于某种原因, may be billed for disbursed funds.
